Smoother drawing, a new way to browse your letters
Inks 1.1.9 adds a drawer view, new stickers and stamps, and improvements to drawing, erasing, and writing replay.
A new letter drawer
Alongside the existing list, you can now browse and open your letters in a drawer view. It’s another way to revisit what you’ve written.
Drawing and materials
- Improved drawing, erasing, and zoomed-in rendering on both letters and envelopes, with zoom up to 4×.
- Added crayon-style stickers and nature-themed stamps for more ways to decorate your letters and envelopes.
- Added drawing statistics: see stroke counts and drawing time for the letter body, plus the colors used on the letter and envelope. These are recorded for new creations; older letters are not recalculated.
Replay and everyday use
- Reduced empty waiting time during replay and preserved replay state when turning pages, with smoother pause bubbles and image movement.
- Improved material previews and feedback, with fewer interruptions from tips and autosave notices.
- Fixed issues with saving drafts, locating attachments, and transitions when opening letters.
- Fixed the input field not clearing after sending a follow-up note on older iOS versions.
